DeepFitness 2.0

A few years ago Matt Pitcher and I created a fitness site called DeepFitness.com. The site hosted fitness and health articles and links. It never really developed the audience we had hoped for and it took too much time to maintain.

This year we struck out with a new vision. Instead of hunting for content, we’d go the Drudge route and just find interesting links. Matt Drudge is a personal hero of mine, so it only makes sense that I’d mentor his success.

For those that didn’t read his book, Matt used to work overnights at a 7-11 loading the newspapers into the store. He used his passion for news and media to carve out a million dollar plus annual salary.

Early signs indicate that the new tabloid format is twice as popular as the old textbook format. This year will determine if this site will take off and become a fitness staple on the Internet.
