Metro MAS

I’m typing this blog from my new pad in the heart of the Marina district of downtown San Diego. My windows are open and a nice cool breeze is filling the condo. Most things have gone smoothly.

My commute is down to a mere 19 minutes at peak hours. Previously it was an hour.

In just three nights I’ve already got used to the sound of a train whistle at 3:30 AM. It wakes me up, but then I go right back to sleep.

My only issue so far is that the Cox DVR is not nearly as nice as a real TIVO.

I’ve now lived in the country, suburbs, a college campus, a military base and now downtown. The only thing left is island living. I’m saving that for last.
