Cowles Mountain South Approach

One of the most popular hikes in San Diego is Cowles Mountain. This is a hike for people that don’t like to hike. It’s boring. It’s crowded. By San Diego standards, the views are not that impressive. I believe it’s popular because of it’s central location, the wide paths, and parking lot.

Boldly Going Where…

Now that I’m not working, I thought I’d finish a project that I started months ago. My goal is to watch all episodes of the original Star Trek. I’m almost half way done. Hope this silences the critics that think my unemployment will cause me to lose focus.

Waking Up To a Bullhorn

Living downtown is a loud experience. This morning I woke up to a bullhorn as the city decided to place the finish line to an 8K road race just outside my window. As a former runner, I can’t say I remember the guy at the finish line talking so much.
