Summer of Shots

Although I wasn’t required to have any special immunization for my trip to South America, I decided to play it safe and get shots for everything I might encounter. In the last few weeks, these are the shots I’ve received.

  • Hepatitis-A
  • Hepatitis-B
  • Typhoid
  • Yellow Fever
  • Tetanus

In addition to the warnings listed on the CDC web site, I’ve decided to kick my caffeine addiction before leaving for Brazil. I’d rather go through the headaches now than when I’m on vacation. My previous record for going without caffeine is 100 hours. Wish me luck.
