Woodson Mountain - East Approach Hike
Steep hikes with a lot of boulders tend to be on very rocky trails. Not so with the East Approach trail to the summit of Woodson Mountain. With the exception of the first 50 meters or so, the entire trail is a winding asphalt road. Woodson Mountain is on the Ramona side of the Ramona/Poway border.

This is hike C-3 Trip 4 in Afoot & Afield in San Diego.
