Palm Springs Aerial Tramway and San Jacinto
Palm Springs is less than three hours from San Diego. Having never been on the famous tramway, I took a road trip there on Saturday. It was a warm day around 70 degrees at the bottom of Mount San Jacinto. At the top of the 2.5 mile ride it was quite a bit colder with lots of snow on the ground. This was my White Christmas. Five miles of hiking in the snow at the top of a mountain in Palm Springs.
