MAS o Menos

I didn’t sit around on my first day after quitting my job. After seeing the less fortunate on TV buried in blizzard conditions, I thought it would be a good idea to head east to the desert part of San Diego County for a hike. My pick for a hike was the 3 hour journey through a canyon inside Anza-Borrego Desert State Park called Lower Hellhole.

I didn’t see any Mountain Lions or rattle snakes. I did see a guy biking with his dog in a backpack.

This is hike D-2 Trip 8 in Afoot & Afield in San Diego. And although there may have been a 25 foot waterfall in 1998 when this book was written, it isn’t there now.
