MAS o Menos

Yesterday we went out to the northwest corner of San Diego County and hiked The Calcite Mine trail inside Anza-Borrego. After a 1.4 mile hike along a jeep trail, make a left into a long series of slot canyons. If you are not an advanced hiker and wish to see some slot canyons in San Diego, this is the trail for you. The slot canyons on this trail are not as narrow as those of Canyon Sin Nombre. There are a few spots you will need to do some minor climbing, so some level of strength is recommended.
