Mount Woodson - West Approach
Today I hiked the 2300 foot ascent of Mount Woodson in Poway. Last November I did the East Approach which is an easier 1200 foot climb. The last time I was at Lake Poway was July 2001. Note that if you go to Lake Poway in the summer on on the weekend and aren’t a Poway resident, they will charge you to park.
This is hike C-3 Trip 5 in Afoot & Afield in San Diego and hike #35 in 60 Hikes Within 60 Miles: San Diego.
