Batiquitos Lagoon and Camera Update
Today my back was well enough to tackle the very flat nature trail of Batiquitos Lagoon of South Carlsbad. The last time I did this trail was in September 2000.
It also gave me an opportunity to try out the Canon Rebel XTi camera. I’m not sure the pictures are that much better than my point and click. It could be the photographer. I will say once you are used to slipping a little camera in your pocket, lugging around a real camera is a pain. Costco does have a 90 Day return policy on cameras and unlike Circuit City and Best Buy there is no 15% restocking fee. Regardless, I need a better camera so I’ve ordered the Canon PowerShot SD800, which is a higher end version of the camera I’ve used to create all my galleries since 2004.
