In January, I released the new version of my technical web site DigitalColony.com. Even though I’ve had problems with the publisher Blogger, it has been a success. The Alexa ranking has gone from 679,291 to 389,708. Considering I spent most of 2007 on DeepFitness, INeedCoffee and this site, I’m impressed with the increase.

This morning I finished the conversion of all articles dating back to 2001 into the new web site. Some of them are dated. It’s kind of like looking at your 1st grade artwork and saying I can color SO much better now!

Considering that INeedCoffee went commercial this week, I’m wondering if I can make more than $2 on ads for Digital Colony. I may float a trial and if it doesn’t pay well then pull them down.

UPDATE: Tried ads on the site. Received one click through in the first 1000 impressions. No more ads on Digital Colony.
