Everywhere I turn there is another place that serves amazing espresso. I really need to slow down. If only my teeth would stop chattering.
Even made it to the original *$ (shorthand for Starbucks). Unlike the rest of the country, they still have real baristas tamping espresso and pulling shots by hand. No monkey machines here.

My guess is most people probably aren’t devoting sufficient time to planning and saving for retirement. I read somewhere that the average Baby Boomer has less than $50,000 in savings heading into retirement. On the surface this means that workers won’t be able to retire, so they will continue working.
In the book Bull’s Eye Investing: [...]
According to the article Are You Strong? Find out right now with these strength standards! by Tim Henriques, a decent bench press for a male is 225 or 1.25 times bodyweight.

It was exactly one year ago that a bullhorn woke me up. San Diego has the Race for Literacy, which blocks off some streets and has an 8K race for runners. This year I got up before the bullhorn. This year I got to hear numerous car alarms go off as a platform tow [...]
It’s time to finally see another top metro area. From May 16th - 21st, I’ll be visiting Seattle. Before I went to South America, I spent a few weeks reducing my coffee intake because I knew the coffee would suck there. Now I’m in the reverse position. For the next 10 days I need [...]
Over on Digital Colony, I was having some fun in Photoshop. Take the colors from a classical painting and apply them to a photograph. Below is an autumn photograph from New England, a Monet painting and the resulting mashup.
