50 Days Without TV
I made it to the 50 day mark without TV. Not quite a decade, but it’s a start. Having a Netflix account and renting TV shows almost makes it too easy. During the last 50 days, I actually watched all 4 seasons of Star Trek Enterprise. Not exactly an Amish lifestyle.
The biggest change was turning off CNBC. I always wondered what the “C” in CNBC stood for. It’s a financial channel. I guess FNBC could be seen as impolite, especially if there is too much of a pause between saying the F and the N. I now believe the “C” stands for crack. Constantly moving stock tickers and financial analysis can become addicting.

Well now that I’m off the CrackNBC, I’ve started reading again. My reading round up will come in a later post.
