MAS o Menos

This past weekend I went to two Meetups. Saturday was for the Seattle Area Tea Meetup and Sunday was for the Seattle Coffee Club.

The Tea Meetup was my first tea tasting and it was held the Teacup in Queen Anne. It is similar to a coffee cupping. Although my palette for coffee is more advanced than most, I am a newbie when it comes to tasting quality teas. I learned quite a bit about tea.

Even though I enjoy tea, I still slipped next door to Caffe Ladro for an espresso.

The Coffee Meetup really had nothing to do with coffee, except the fact the location was a coffee house. A friendly group of people that talked about everything but coffee. I volunteered to teach a class on home roasting coffee in a popcorn popper to the group.
