Another Beverage Weekend in Seattle
Saturday the Coffee Meetup visited Herkimer Coffee. There we did a cupping and talked coffee with the roaster. Each time I go to one of these events, I always walk away knowing more about coffee than I did going in. And I left with a new respect for how good Yemen coffee can taste.
Sunday the Tea Meetup sampled the teas at Miro Tea. My favorite was an Oolong called Monkey Picked Tieguany.
Back at home I’ve started roasting coffee in the Behmor 1600. Each new roaster has a learning curve and I’m slowly improving with each roast.
