Getting Rich on Social Security
Exciting news! The Social Security Administration tells me that if I keep plugging away and working until I’m 67, then they will reward me with $1665 each and every month. What will I do with all that money? I suppose I shouldn’t think about it too much since I still have 30 more years of work left. Don’t want to get too anxious.
Uncle Sam suggests that I spend my able body years sitting in front of a computer, moving just enough to load my mug full of caffeine to keep me going. Then at age 67, I’ll be permitted to stand up straight, take my $20,000 a year and go see the world. This plan can’t fail. I’m so fortunate our government has such a sweet retirement package.

UPDATE (10/17): The $1665 number is inaccurate. Taking a year off work skewed this number lower. Using the online calculator, my monthly number will be above $2000. The good news keeps pouring in!
