Rancho San Pasqual - All Clear
SignOnSanDiego just posted an all clear for my old neighborhood of Rancho San Pasqual.
Escondido has reopened two more neighborhoods to evacuated residents: Rancho San Pasqual and Rancho Vista Monte, both on the eastern part of town.
No homes were damaged or destroyed in those areas.

UPDATE 10/25/2007: Rancho San Pasqual was saved by a firefighting unit 146 miles away after the state of emergency was declared. They were assigned to the fire near the Wild Animal Park and had as many as 10 engines in the RSP neighborhood. From my former neighbor:
Everyone on the block is okay - Hearthside’s Fire Defense along with the Santa Clarita Fire Department (CAL-FIRE) saved our homes.
