Tea Cupping
Last August I went to a coffee cupping and did an impressive job of guessing the coffee region of eight different bean types. This Saturday, I participated in my first blind tea cupping. Even though I’ve only actively been drinking tea for a few months now, I found guessing the style of tea to be much easier than coffee.

Of the five different types of tea (white, green, oolong, puer, black), I guessed all five types correctly. As for the exact tea name and region, I’m sure that will take years of practice and perhaps a small amount of Chinese and Japanese vocabulary.
