Rats!
No I didn’t discover any rats in my new apartment. I did discover a book on the history of rats in New York City though.Â
Rats: Observations on the History and Habitat of the City’s Most Unwanted Inhabitants by Robert Sullivan is a mix of history and the author’s own adventures ratting in NYC. I wanted to read a book on a topic that was new to me. Given that 2008 is the Year of the Rat, why not a rat book?Â
Overall I learned a few tidbits about rats and some more NYC history. If you are interested in NYC city or rodents, give it a read.
