Curling in Seattle
Last Saturday I went Curling at the Granite Curling Club in North Seattle. A friend of mine planned the entire event. I didn’t know what to expect, I just made sure I got there on time.
At the Granite Curling Club they assigned our group an instructor and for two hours she walked us step by step through this interesting sport. We started with the very basics – such as walking on ice. Then we practiced moving the stone and then we were onto sweeping. At the end we played a short game. We had a blast.

I’m glad I got to try out the sport of Curling. I had a great time, but once is enough. The next event my friend is researching is called WhirlyBall. That looks like even more fun.
