I frequently receive requests regarding advertising. I have set up this page to explain the Advertising Policy for Critical MAS.

If you wish to sponsor a page with a relevant link to an honest business, feel free to contact me. The link will be clearly stated to the reader and will appear below the article – not contextual. If the link is not relevant to my readers or appears shady, I will decline the offer. Not responding to your email should be considered declining your offer. I alone determine if the link is relevant.

Also, I have no desire to send endless emails back and forth. Please clearly state your offer in your email. Where is the link going? How much are you offering and for how many months? What blog posts are you interested in sponsoring? The more honest and up front you are with me, the more likely it is we can do business.

For an example of how a sponsored page would look, view the post Carrizo Badlands Hike. At the end of the entry there is a fictional sponsorship by the ACME Corporation, which is clearly stated to the readers.

If you are selling e-book that you believe matches the topics covered on this site, feel free to reach out to me. Ideally, I would like to review the book before setting up an affiliate relationship. Please see my reviews for Eat Stop Eat and Hillfit for examples. I already have an account setup with Google Affiliate Network, ClickBank and E-Junkie.

Review Policy

Occasionally, I get asked to review books or products. Feel free to email me if you think a product you have might be of interest to my readers. I will disclose in the review that I was given the item for review. If the item is coffee related, the review will receive a much higher audience on my coffee site INeedCoffee. That item would have to be available for readers to purchase through Amazon.com.
