Having never lived in New York City or Los Angeles, I haven’t seen or met many celebrities. This page lists those few times that I did have a brush with fame. I’m not star struck, but a good story is a good story.
That Time I Got in a Car Chase With Hulk Hogan – My first encounter with Hulk Hogan was while driving through Clearwater, Florida in 1994.
Meeting Hulk Hogan and Macho Man – I don’t even like wrestling, but when you live in Florida you take the celebrities you are given.
The First Time I Met Bill Clinton – During the 1992 campaign, Clinton and Gore visited Columbus.
Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, 1998 – In 1998, I got a pass to watch the July 4th fireworks from the White House lawn. President Clinton came out to meet a few of his guests.
The Presidential Motorcade – My greatest celebrity story. This is the time I met President Clinton and he convinced me to get a haircut.
Dance Fever – Deney Terrio – My one disco celebrity!
Baseball Player Dwight Gooden – I didn’t actually met or even see him, but on two occasions I delivered pizzas to his home in St. Petersburg, Florida.
On a flight back from Oahu, Alica Silverstone left first class, came back to coach and spoke to actor Michael Rapaport, who was 2 rows behind me.
In February 2013, I found myself waking down the street in Seattle’s Capitol Hill with Lewis Black.
That is all for now.
