No Diving (Jumping is OK!)
This photo from Leavenworth, Washington made me smile as much as my photo from Iguassu Falls.

Need a place to throw away your gum the next time you are in Seattle? Head down the stairs near the fish throwing fun and then head west. Then turn left down the alley. Now slap your gum on the wall. Not as cool as concrete corn, but worth a visit.
And it is smaller than I imagined.
Not to be confused with the famous truck in Fremont, this car was featured at an art exhibit in Queen Anne last Sunday.

Just north of the Seattle Aquarium there is a fountain sculpture of a nude man reaching out to a nude boy. Maybe I can’t appreciate art, but to me this looks like a prequel to an Amber Alert.
The uproar over this statue happened back in 2005 before I got to town.

RoadsideAmerica is a site that lists offbeat tourists attractions. Saturday I went to visit two of the more popular offbeat locations for Seattle. In the Fremont district, I saw the Fremont Troll and the Lenin Statue.

On the way back to Auckland we past through the town of Tirau which has metallic sculptures on many of it’s buildings. It’s quite the roadside attraction.
