My Next Move?
On January 2nd an email was sent out to the employees of our company. It was one of those this is going to be a great year emails that many companies send out.  I read the details of the email closely. The goals and time lines were beyond ambitious. They were ludicrous.
It was on that day I predicted that at the end of first quarter there would be lay offs. And being since I worked remote, I knew I’d be gone first. At one point I thought that the company could delay the inevitable by one quarter once realistic deadlines were communicated. But it was my original prediction that came true. The lay offs came today on the last day of the quarter and I got let go.
Now what?  Maybe some traveling. Maybe a return to Ohio to visit my family. Perhaps a road trip. Work on my web sites? Or I could look for another job.Â
The glass is half full.

Sorry to hear about the temporary state of joblessness. Or, should we be saying congratulations perhaps? Probably so.
Think Costa Rica!

As long as our central bankers keep devaluing the USD, Europe is not an option. :0
