Firing Active Host

Yesterday I went into detail about rogue SPAM blacklists in my J’accuse! post. What brought this on was one of web hosts actually sited that they used the rogue BlarsBL to filter email directed to me. This outraged me enough to fire Active Host after a multi-year relationship.

J’accuse!

In an effort to thwart SPAM, many DNS Blacklists have surfaced. They supposedly track which servers are sending SPAM. Email programs or mail servers then check these lists before delivering email to the user. When their right, they are great. When then wrong, it sucks.
